Research Seminar
PFP 900 - Class Number: 14270
Description:
In this course, students will attend a research seminar during which a scholar will present current research on topics relevant to Personal Financial Planning. Speakers may include KSU faculty, advanced PFP graduate students, and researchers from other institutions. Students and faculty not only listen to learn from the speaker’s expertise but also actively engage with the presentation by asking questions. Asking questions is critical for scientific inquiry and advancement. Questions should be asked to (1) allow the speaker to clarify or expand on material, (2) constructively criticize the methods, research design, or findings, and (3) suggest ways the scholar might improve the analysis.
