Description:
Focuses on the history, form, and functions of podcasting as a mass communication tool that is increasingly replacing broadcast radio as America’s audio delivery system of choice. Note Nonfictional and fictional narratives, spoken word content, public service, current events-based reports, music, and a variety of “chum casts”—just a few of podcasting’s ever-developing art forms—will be unpacked, demonstrated, and practiced.
