Aesthetic Experience and Interpretive Understanding Human Diversity within the U.S.

Description:

This course examines depictions of gender, race/ethnicity, class, and sexuality in American film. It focuses on the way in which images in mainstream Hollywood films reinforce, normalize and/or question power, power relations, and stereotypes.
