Nutrient Metabolism
FNDH 620 - Class Number: 14228

Description:
Basic concepts of the mechanisms of actions, interactions and the processes of cellular assimilation and utilization of nutrients in humans. Emphasis on the coordinated control of nutrient utilization among the major organs.
- Advisor permission required. Enrollment restricted to students in the online Nutrition & Health and Dietetics programs. On-campus students should contact their advisor for seat availability beginning December 1, 2023.

Prerequisites:
- FNDH 400; BIOL 340 or KIN 360; and BIOCH 265 or BIOCH 521, or CHM 550 with concurrent enrollment in BIOCH 521
