Food Microbiology Lab

FDSCI 601 - Class Number: 14799

Description:

Laboratory procedures involving isolation, identification, enumeration, and characterization of bacteria, yeasts, molds and other microbes associated with foods and food processing. Two two-hour labs a week.

  • Students will have to purchase a lab kit AND a Labster subscription.

Permissions:

  • Instructor Sara Gragg's permission is always required.

  • Internet access

Prerequisites:

  • FDSCI 600 or concurrent enrollment.
