Description:
Action research is an inquiry that has become popular in teacher education as a form of professional learning. This course is a graduate seminar for students who are committed to improving their teaching practices through action research. The premise of this course is that practitioners are both consumers and producers of knowledge and theory about teaching and learning. In this course, students will learn how to conduct action research to improve their teaching practices and generate their own living theory.
