Home Visiting Programs for Young Children and Families

Description:
Examination of the empirical literature that supports the provision of early intervention and education services to families with young children through a home visitation model; focus on programs that use home visitation; an understanding of the key principles in early intervention; and the development of skills necessary to implement a coaching model of service delivery to enhance family and child outcomes.
