Empirical and Quantitative Reasoning

Description:

Administration of the Linux operating system, including installation, configuration, distributed file systems, firewalls and security, shell scripting, and user account management.

  • Student must be in BCS program and have completed CIS 501

Permissions:

  • Instructor Russell Feldhausen's permission is required after 08/28/2023.

Student Requirements:

  • Internet access
  • Students may enroll in CIS courses only if they have earned a grade of C or better for each prerequisite to those courses.

Prerequisites:

  • CIS 308 - C Language Laboratory or both CIS 209 - C Programming for Engineers and CIS 300 - Data and Program Structures.
