Empirical and Quantitative Reasoning Natural and Physical Sciences General Education

Description:

First course of a two-semester study of the principles of chemistry and the properties of the elements and their compounds.

  • Students will be supplied with information on how to purchase a lab kit, at a cost of approximately $250, which will be required for the course.
  • This class is for distance education students and is normally not open to on-campus students. Students will be supplied with information on how to purchase a lab kit, which will be required for the course.

Prerequisites:

  • One year of high school chemistry and MATH 100 (or two years of high school algebra).
