Fundamentals of Electrical Properties
CHE 356 - Class Number: 14164
Description:
Overview of the electrical properties of materials including conductors, semiconductors, and dielectrics, and their basis in the band theory of solids. Multiphase equilibrium and modification of properties through changes in microstructure.
- This course is required for chemical engineering and electrical engineering students and is a recommended elective in several other engineering disciplines. Students in community colleges or other schools can take this course online, as well as CHE 354 and 355, as part of their pre-engineering course work which will facilitate integrating those students more easily into a B.S. in engineering program.
