Description:
Provides an overview of the FAA certification process relating how the certification process contributes to a safe National Airspace System. Application of relevant Federal Aviation Regulations. Covers both aircraft type and production certification to include airframe, engine, and component certification. Covers the history of aviation regulation and corresponding relationship to aerospace safety.
