U.S. Animal Politics and Policymaking

Description:
The goal of this course is for students to become familiar with basic concepts of politics and policymaking related to animals in the United States. The course will examine the role of interest groups, elected representatives, and government agencies in the creation and implementation of policies involving companion animals, wildlife, farm animals, and animals used in research.
